SAVINGS & INSURANCE INDUSTRY BOARD APPOINTMENTS 

“The Investment Savings and Insurance Association (ISI) has reappointed Sean Carroll as Chair of its Board.  Sean was appointed Chair in 2007. 

ISI is the peak industry association representing the leading Fund Managers, KiwiSaver Providers and Life Insurers and works to develop policies and initiatives to support New Zealand’s financial services industry. 

Sean is Executive General Manager of Suncorp Wealth Management New Zealand, responsible for the local activities under Asteron, Guardian Trust, Tyndall, and AA Life brands. 

Ralph Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of AXA New Zealand, has been appointed Deputy Chair of ISI and has been a Board member since September 2004. 

“ISI is in the process of a major review of its position in the financial markets, its operations and its processes, to identify areas of focus and improvement.  ISI recognises that improving confidence and trust, investor experience and financial literacy is important for NZ’s economic future. ISI is committed to working constructively with Government and Officials on these key strategic areas of policy and any associated regulatory improvements” said the Chair, Sean Carroll.
